On Monday, April 7th we are kicking things off with my annual hybrid strength/HIIT program: STRONG IN SPRING….LEVEL UP!
This is a 6 week total body workout challenge that you can do from home with minimal equipment. 4-5 workouts per week. 2 strength days + 2 full body conditioning/HIIT days, with one optional (additional) total body day. WHAT IS STRONG IN SPRING?
The Spring Challenge is one of my biggest annual fitness challenges for my community!
This is the perfect time to jump on board if for no other reason than having MAJOR accountability and a super supportive community for you to feel a part of something bigger. Whether you are working out at the gym or at home – this is a great challenge to kick-start some motivation again! LEVEL UP can mean so many different things to so many different people, depending on the season you’re in. Leveling up means meeting yourself where you’re at and COMMITTING in whatever capacity you can. The mere act of signing up with great intention IS leveling UP! These workouts are progressive in nature with SO many modifications - so the workouts are scalable. If you’ve been in a rhythm with workouts / programs – GREAT – you can just keep up that streak. If you’ve felt a little off track or are having a tough time staying motivated – ALL GOOD – this will give you something structured right now (and map out all your workouts for the next 6 weeks). Maybe you are looking for accountability (like a community of thousands of other like-minded women). Maybe you just need to carve out time for yourself to move and energize your system. If you want to reprioritize yourself and MOVEMENT, this is the perfect way. Who is the challenge for?

All the workouts range from 20-45 minutes. They are efficient sessions with a variety of strength training and HIIT.

Nobody wants to do the same workouts for 6 weeks. I hear you! The workouts get more challenging with each week and you are never doing the same workouts twice. You are building on the basics so you might see similar exercises being used each week, but scaling up with weights or reps etc!

Let me take the guesswork out for you! It's so nice to be told what to do and just hit play. That's exactly what this is. Follow the weekly schedule, press play, go on your own or with me. I'll have protocols written under the video description should you want to rock on your own!

The workouts aren’t easy, but they build on each other and are scalable with plenty of modifications. If you want a killer workout and are limited on equipment – this is perfect for you. All workouts will require a set of dumbbells (soup cans, water bottles, laundry detergent bottles, etc will work) and an elevated surface (couch, table, chair, or bench/something that resembles a bench). There will also be bodyweight workouts where you need zero equipment.

You’ll have a Strong In Spring community chat in the app where you can check in with everyone from the #DPFITCREW on your workouts and stay accountable. If nothing else, you an use this at your leisure - if it serves you or doesn't. But it will be an incredible way to stay accountable and cheer eachother on!!

These workouts are meant to help you feel confident with both HIIT + Strength Training. You will start with basic movement patterns and progress from there. You'll leave this challenge feeling so much stronger than you came in (both on a physical + mentality level). You're capable of a hell of a lot more than you think and I'm here to show you that!

It's so easy to fall out of routine and I totally get that. I've even been in a season myself with grief and just general life busy-ness where I just honestly don’t have it in me some days to show up for any type of long workout anyway. If you're craving a kickstart to be consistent or something to get you excited about working out again - that’s digestible and manageable…this is an incredible, supportive place to start.
