I am so honored and grateful to have been a part of this. Thank you so much Scottsdale Health for featuring me on the cover of the September 2012 Issue. Growing up in Arizona, this specific cover and feature meant a lot to me. I want to give a special thanks to Susan, Michelle, and Anthony from Scottsdale Health and the brilliant James Patrick for an awesome feature! I had a blast shooting with James as usual. I have been working with him for over 4 years now and he was the very first photographer I ever shot with. Its fun to be able to continually work with James and see the growth on both ends over time
The inside feature places some focus on growing up around sports and especially the influence my Dad had on me. 12 news came in the day of the shoot to do a behind the scenes look at creating the Scottsdale Health cover. They will be airing a story
in November, so stay tuned for that! I will post the video on my blog and it will air locally in Phoenix on KPNX 12.
Here are a couple behind the scenes photos. We all had a blast on set that day, just having fun and creating different looks. We did some boxing, running, weights, fashion. I think in general my favorite part of photoshoots is seeing the final product. Sometimes you take over 1,000 pictures in a day and its always interesting to see which ones get picked.
I have been reading the pages of Scottsdale Health for years and I always dreamt one day I would be gracing the cover. I truly believe that with hard work, perserverence, and passion for what you do….YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING! I’m so excited to see what this year has in store. I have many goal and projects I’m currently working on, but everyday brings something new. I am always ready to take on what is thrown my way. If there is one thing I do know, it’s that I’m passionate about what I do. I love being able to help or inspire anyone I can along the way! I can only hope that one day I will leave the same positive mark that my Dad did on this world. I know he is watching from above and always guiding me on my life path. The comfort of simply knowing he is there with me in spirit, is all I need.
