Scottsdale Health September 2012 Issue

Scottsdale Health September 2012 Issue

I am so honored and grateful to have been a part of this.  Thank you so much Scottsdale Health for featuring me on the cover of the September 2012 Issue.  Growing up in Arizona, this specific cover and feature meant a lot to me.  I want to give a special thanks to Susan, Michelle, and Anthony from Scottsdale Health and the brilliant James Patrick for an awesome feature!  I had a blast shooting with James as usual.  I have been working with him for over 4 years now and he was the very first photographer I ever shot with.  Its fun to be able to continually work with James and see the growth on both ends over time.

The inside feature places some focus on growing up around sports and especially the influence my Dad had on me.  12 news came in the day of the shoot to do a behind the scenes look at creating the Scottsdale Health cover.  They will be airing a story

My Weekend In Arizona

My Weekend in Arizona: Pat’s Run, Photoshoots, & FMI

I had a great weekend in Arizona, and just wanted to do a quick post to summarize everything.  It is amazing how fast 3 days flew, and there was no down time!  However, it was a very successful trip and I have had a couple days to sit back and reflect.

The weekend started out perfectly as I arrived late Friday evening, and got to bed early to prepare for Pat’s Run in Tempe Arizona.  Pat’s Run is a 4.2 mile run/walk race honoring Pat Tillman.  The race winds through the streets of Tempe and ends inside of Sun Devil Stadium.  A couple years ago we started doing Pat’s Run in honor of my friend and college roommate Garrett Hohn who we lost tragically September 26, 2008.  Many friends and family of Garrett created a “Team Hohn,” and continue to participate in Pat’s Run every year.  I’m so happy I was able to make it to Phoenix this year and participate, honor Garrett, run a race, and attempt a personal record

Staying Focused During the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

By: Danielle Pascente (D)

Special Thanks: Aunt J (AJ)

We are nearing the end of Breast Cancer Awareness month and I have been putting together something that is very meaningful to me.  I had the opportunity to interview my Aunt, who was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago.  She will talk about her story, the hardships she faced, and overcoming this disease.  She is now cancer-free and ready to talk about her experience.  I truly believe that no matter the age—it is important to

Music To My Ears – My Playlist

MUSIC TO MY EARS – My Playlist

Danielle Pascente

I think we can all agree that music (and a good playlist) is a crucial part of our lives.  It can put you in any mood that you desire.  When you need a pick me up, if you want to cry, when you need to get work done, preparing for a competition, chilling out at home, getting ready for a night on the town, etc.  I think we as human beings all have different tastes in musical genres per se, but are exactly the same in LOVING music.  For me personally, it is what starts my day and can make all the difference in the world.  I mean, I know you can relate!  You can’t deny how great your workouts are when you update your playlist.  You can’t deny

Have a Game Plan and a Brain Plan

Have a Game Plan and a Brain Plan

Danielle Pascente

Having a game plan in your daily life is key, and being able to stay on top of each task requires some mental attention as well.  Yes, I’ll admit it.  I don’t wake up everyday with a brilliant plan of everything I want to accomplish in 24 hours.  I do take the time however to make a list, and set a “game plan” of the things I want to attempt to tackle that day.  In today’s world, there is so much to do in so little time.  We are all working at a fast pace and taking on more jobs than the human brain can even handle.  We love overachieving
