How will the 6 week challenge work?
On Sunday, March 18th, I’ll send you your 6 week calendar and breakdown of how the challenge will work. Immediately after signing up, you will receive the 6 week Kick-Ass Training Guide (KATG 1.0). We will be following the 1.0 training guide starting from week 1. Since we just got done doing the 14 day challenge, we will skip the preparation training weeks in the guide. The 6 week calendar you’ll receive on March 18th will be filled with your daily workout schedule + daily challenge goals (i.e. water, greens, positive affirmations, etc).
It is optional but I highly recommend adding the Kick-Ass Treadmill Training Guide into your challenge for BEST results. If you don’t already have that, I will be giving you an exclusive discount code in your welcome e-mail after you sign up. If you’ve purchased the Kick-Ass Training Treadmill Training Guide before, that will come in handy for your cardio days on the program.
Who is #KATG for?
#KATG is for those that are short on time, but still want an effective workout. All the workouts range from 20-45 minutes. They are fat burning, calorie torching sessions with a variety of weight circuits and HIIT.
#KATG is for those that want a progressive program. Nobody wants to do the same workout for 6 weeks. I hear you! The workouts get more challenging with each week and you are never doing the same workouts twice.
#KATG is for those that like a clear layout with exercise clarifications and photos. The program includes a full exercise glossary and 4-5 photos per exercise included in each workout.
#KATG is for those who want to be challenged in the comfort of their own home. The workouts aren’t easy but they build on each other. If you want a killer workout and are limited on equipment – this is perfect for you.
#KATG is for those who want a community of other kick-ass women doing the same program. You have immediate access to a Facebook group upon purchase of any Kick-Ass Training Guide. You also have a complete community on instagram with the hashtags #KATG #KATcrew where you can check-in to gain inspiration and be held accountable.
Who is #KATG not for?
#KATG is not for you if you like spending hours at the gym trying to figure out complicated machines. The equipment used is mostly bodyweight and dumbbells.
#KATG is not for you if you want to rely on streaming videos for your workout. The #KATG is distributed in PDF format with photo breakdowns. There is no video demo component. However, if you have questions on any exercises – you can always pop into the FB group and ask for an exercise demo.
#KATG is not for you if you want overnight results. This program is progressive in nature. It also has a 2.0 version. Results are best seen when you combine all 3 of the Kick-Ass programs and repeat 2-3 times.
#KATG is not for you if you like easy workouts. These workouts aren’t easy at all, but with 2 weeks or preparation training – I have kept the beginner in mind. The preparation weeks are optional so if you are ready to jump right in, you can!

Where will the challenge take place?
This is INSTAGRAM Challenge! So yes, you need to sign up for a free account. You will “check in” 2 times a week via Instagram, using a photo (can be a sweaty selfie, a quote, shot of the gym, screenshot of the workout, you and a friend completing the workout, inspirational meme, whatever).
YOU WILL HASHTAG ALL POSTS using “#KATCREW.” For example, your description might be “Just finished up W1D1 of the Kick-Ass Training Guide (KATG) and I’m sweatin’ up a storm @daniellepascente #KATCREW.
The best part about Instagram challenges is you aren’t alone! You can go to that hashtag to gain motivation all the way through the challenge. Tag @DaniellePascente and use the hashtag #KATcrew to connect with all the amazing girls in the Kick-Ass Training community!
If you don’t have an instagram and want to create a handle just for this, you can do for instance @Danielle_KATcrew or @KATcrew_Danielle. If you don’t have an IG and still want to do the challenge, you can. You just wont be eligible to win prizes.
Challenge prizes and rules.
Your daily check-ins on Instagram are your chance make new friends, share how you’re doing, show us what’s inspiring you, and get support. There will also be chances to win incredible prizes just by joining and completing the workout calendar.
In order to be entered into the prize raffle at the end of the challenge, you must have posted 2 times a week for the full 6 weeks. OR 12 total posts in 6 weeks. Please see challenge rules below. You do NOT have to follow challenge rules if you don’t care for the prizes. You can just hop in on the challenge in whatever capacity you want. I’d love to have you kicking ass no matter what!

What are the workouts like?
The workouts are intense but doable if you are used to my IG workouts! Weeks 1, 2, & 3 of the KATG are progressive and similar to the 14 day challenge but may feel easier (at least week 1). The workouts will get tougher as the weeks progress. Weeks 4, 5, & 6 will pose extra challenges and may be a bit longer in duration!

All the workouts can be done at home with dumbbells (I recommend 1 heavier and 1 lighter set), or at a gym. Remember, if you don’t have dumbbells – you can use water bottles, laundry detergent bottles, cans, etc. GET CREATIVE! For the 6 week challenge, an elevated surface will ALSO come in handy. Things like a couch, chair, bench, stool (for exercises like bench dips or step ups).

What should I do before we start?
1. Check your e-mail immediately after signing up to receive the Kick-Ass Training Guide + some preliminary materials. Check your e-mail Sunday, March 18th for your week 1 challenge calendar. I will also be e-mailing periodically to send some reminders so just be on the lookout in your inbox.
